honest opinion? I don't think you need the voice-over at all - it's not me saying 'your voice over sucks', it's me saying you really don't need it. I don't think it adds anything to the visuals, which are doing all the heavy-lifting in terms of story, and that's preferable I think. People will get the vibe you're after! :)
